2012 Summer Drama Camp
Our summer drama camp is comprised of one week of theater instruction in the areas of movement, understanding dialogue and scripts, understanding and application of theatrical terminology, acting, understanding and creating characters, theme/plot, costumes, stagecraft, conflict, and theatrical traditions.
Drama Camp is held from 9am to 3pm daily for one week. Mornings are dedicated to performance activities and lessons, and afternoons are dedicated to show rehearsal. Campers will act in a culminating performance for friends/family on Friday of camp week.
DRAMA CAMP REGISTRATION BEGINS SUNDAY APRIL 1ST FROM 3:00pm to 6:00pm AT THE DALLAS THEATER -- YOU MUST COME IN PERSON TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD
Drama Camp Registration is highly competitive and we encourage you to sign up on April 1st to increase your chances of reserving a spot. We are unable to hold spots for anyone.
If you are not able to register on Sunday April 1st, please call on Monday to find out if a spot is open—we will update our voicemail to let parents know which camps are open and which are full.
We will update the website as camp weeks become full.
- The registration fee is $25 and is non-refundable.
- The remaining $75 of your camp fees are due on or before Monday at 9am of your camp week.
- You may print and fill out the registration form prior to your arrival at registration.
- A parent or guardian must sign the registration form AND BE PRESENT AT REGISTRATION.
- The cost for the half day camp for ages 5-6 is $75.00 total, with $25.00 due at time of registration & $50.00 due on first day of camp.

- June 4-8 Ages 7-9 / Performance, Friday, June 8th, 6:00pm
- June 11-12 Ages 7-9 / Performance, Friday, June 15th, 6:00pm
- June 25-29 Ages 10-12 / Performance, Friday, June 29th, 6:00pm
- July 16-20 Ages 13-15 / Performance, Friday, July 20th, 6:00pm
- July 23-27 Ages 5-6 (this camp is half day, 9am-Noon) / Performance, Friday, July 27th, 6:00pm
